A Teaching
For today I want to teach you a verse in My Word and I want to share with you how to express this particular verse. The one I AM focusing on is found in Ephesians 4:26 ‘Be angry and do not sin: do not let the sun go down on your wrath.’ So when My Word says to be angry, it means you are given permission to let things bother you. Even My Son was bothered while on earth by calling the Pharisees white washed sepulchers (tombs) and also by turning over the tables in the temple! So be angry~but let your anger be for a righteous reason and not due to feeling sorry for yourself. So I encourage you to check yourself and ask yourself why am I angry? What is causing it? For it is good to examine your heart and to get rid of fleshly entanglements. Then when it says do not sin—that means to forgive those who have wronged you and to not take bitterness in your heart for My Word speaks against having a root of bitterness (Hebrews 12:15)~for many become defiled~for when you have bitterness in your heart, you have chosen not to forgive, but to harbor resentment in your heart and that opens a door for the enemy in your life. So that is why the verse goes on to say do not let the sun go down on your wrath. Do not open the door to evil, but choose to forgive and Be Free of evil for that is Kingdom Living!
Proverbs 19:11 “An understanding person demonstrates patience, for mercy means holding your tongue. When you are insulted, be quick to forgive and forget it, for you are virtuous when you overlook an offense.”
That's a really good teaching. So many Christians don't understand the need to forgive. They would if they read their Bibles...
